Stellpflug Law PLLC Receives 2022 Diversity Law Institute Law Firm Diversity Award
The Construction Lawyers Society of America and the Diversity Law Institute are pleased to announce Stellpflug Law PLLC is the recipient of a 2022 Diversity Law Institute Law Firm Diversity Award. Partner Janet G. Stellpflug accepted the award on behalf of the firm on May 20, 2022, at the CLSA’s 2022 West Coast Construction Law Symposium in Los Angeles, California. Diversity Law Institute Law Firm Diversity Awards are given annually to a select number of law firms and companies who have advanced, promoted, or supported diversity and inclusion in the profession of law and who share in the commitments of both the DLI and CLSA to promote a more diverse, equal, and inclusive legal profession.
A Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), Stellpflug Law PLLC is a 100% woman-owned defense firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The firm’s ongoing commitment to diversity is demonstrated through a broad range of industry and community involvement initiatives including pro bono, volunteerism and involvement in affinity groups and bars. “We are incredibly honored to be recognized by CLSA and DLI,” says Stellpflug. “Much credit goes to our younger professionals, who are engaged and empowered to drive efforts to advance diversity and inclusion in our profession and in the industries we serve.”
The Diversity Law Institute (DLI) is an international association of lawyers and law firms committed to diversity in all aspects of the legal profession and justice systems of the United States and Canada. Its purpose and mission is to advance the interests of women and minorities in the profession and to aid in the administration of justice where possible. Its membership exceeds 4,500 at this time. Members are from every U.S. state and the provinces of Canada, and also include representatives from Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central America. Membership in the DLI is open to all lawyers and law firms, in every area of practice, and is contemporaneous with Litigation Counsel of America and Construction Lawyers Society of America Fellowships. Law firm memberships, sponsorships, and support are encouraged. Through partnership with the LCA and the CLSA, the Diversity Law Institute is able to create a more open dialogue and strengthen solutions for a better future.
